October is my favorite month out of the year, I’m here for pumpkin everything, apple cider, the pretty leaves, cute boots & sweaters, all of it! So I’m bringing you my fall favorites! I’ll be linking items in case there’s anything you guys want to snag for yourself.
First things first… food. Always.
Cinnamon Apple Cider Jelly
My favorite jelly. I love mixing this into oats, spreading it on an English muffin or toast in the morning! It’s so sweet & yummy. You can order this online (only $6.50!) or snag it by visiting Center Grove Orchard if you live near Cambridge, Iowa! Center Grove Orchard is one of my favorites to visit with Brian. In college we would make it a yearly date & go grab pumpkins, get some lunch & shop allll of the goodies!
Pumpkin Protein Bread
This yummy recipe is my own & I love making it every year! It’s the perfect blend of pumpkin & spice without going overboard on the pumpkin, but I’m also bias 😉 This recipe was inspired by Libby’s Pumpkin Bread. When I lived at home in between college & high school, I made pumpkin bread for my family every year & always watched HalloweenTown after haha. Still one of my favorite Halloween movies! When I got serious about my health in college, I wanted to create one that wouldn’t overload me with sugar but still tasted great. Try out my recipe & let me know what you think!
Sugar Free Apple Cider
I’m a sucker for apple cider but not the sugar content. If you’re a health nut like me, you know that regular apple cider contains over 20g of sugar. Not for me sis! I’ll have it every once in a while, but I love having a hot drink every day after lunch at work & this is perfect if you wanna lower your sugar intake but want something warm & yummy.
Cinnamon Apple Spice Tea
MY FAVORITE TEA. This one is the perfect fall tea. It’s sweet, but not too sweet & has the perfect blend of apple & spice. I’ll switch out between this one & the sugar free apple cider above when I want something warm but don’t want any caffeine.
This protein saves me when I’m in a rush, need a snack, need to bulk up a meal or just need some more protein to be added to my macronutrients. This is a slower digesting protein, meant to keep you fuller for longer. It’s low temperature processed making it the highest quality on the market! Because of the quality, it bakes well, mixes in oats well, doesn’t get chunky or chalky & even mixes in coffee well! My favorite flavors to mix in coffee, bake with or to just mix with water are Pumpkin Spice Latte & Cinnamon Cookie Batter. PSL is a limited edition flavor! Once it’s gone, it’s gone so snag it now while you can!
Let’s talk.. FASHUN.
Alright. Fashion hasn’t really been something I’ve talked about on social media, but I really do dress cute on the weekends I swear hahah.
Nine West Leopard Sweater
Such a cute sweater & it’s on sale right now! This comfy cute sweater is from Kohl’s & was originally listed as $100 when I got it last month sooo definitely snag it while you can! Pairs perfect with jeans & black booties. I’ve honestly had mine for 6 years (why I’m not a fashion blogger haha!) but there are similar booties here! The sweater fits true to size, but I recommend sizing up if you prefer the “slouchy” look!
I’m obsessed with these! So cute & I can actually wear them 8 hours a day at work without my feet hurting. I love pairing them with ripped jeans & a cute fitted sweater! From Target & super affordable!
These are my favorite PJs yet. So soft, comfy & on sale right now! You can actually have
them monogrammed but not having them monogrammed gets them to your doorstep a bit quicker 😉 I love this set because it’s lightweight & I can sleep in it without getting too hot at night!
Color Street Halloween Nail Strips
Did you guys know I actually don’t get my nails done? I get compliments on my nails often & when I tell someone I do them myself, people are blown away! These nail strips are 3 layers salon quality polish (base coat, design, top coat) that last 2 weeks! It takes me about 15-20 minutes to shape my nails, push my cuticles back & apply them. They’re awesome because there’s no dry time. The only rule is that you can’t get your nails wet for about 45 minutes in order for them to properly “cure.” I always do mine before bed for that reason 🙂 In a set you get 2 manis & 2 pedis for half the price of getting your nails done at a salon. You can copy my Halloween look I’ve been rocking all month by getting Here For Boos (click the link above) and getting Midnight in Manhattan! Because these are real nail polish, they’ll dry out if you leave them in their package unsealed. You can preserve them by putting them in a resealable baggy & leaving them in the freezer! You just have to leave them out for about 10 min before using them again. So easy!
Bath & Body Works Finds
My favorite fall scented lotion right now is Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte! I get this one every single year. I’m obsessed. I’ll use it when I get out of the shower because who doesn’t want to smell like a big ole pumpkin? AMIRITE. My favorite candle right now is Pumpkin Apple. This is another one I get every year. It’s sold out right now at Bath & Body Works BUT if you click the link you can find it on Amazon 🙂 Another thing I love at B&BW is their wax melts. More affordable & more scent time compared to the candles. They come in a package of 4 or 6, just pop one onto your electric wax warmer & boom! My favorite scents right now are: Autumn & Marshmallow Fireside.
That’s all folks. I loved putting this blog together! Stay tuned for my holiday favorites to come in a couple months. Can you believe Christmas is only 9 weeks away? I can’t wait!
