Apple Cider Pork Chops

Hellllooo, it’s the moooost wonderful time of the yearrrrrr!
that’s right peeps.
it’s fall.
and I’m here for it.
Kicking off this fall season with a favorite I created for Brian last year but again.. Like my Venison Crockpot Roastnever posted. Who am I?
Anyway, this one is simple for the most part, takes 20-30 minutes to make & prep.
This one has me feeling all the fall vibes.

Apple Cider Pork Chops

4 pork chops
1 medium yellow onion chopped
2 honeycrisp apples thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves minced
salt + pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2c apple cider


1.) Heat your olive oil on medium heat in a large skillet pan.

2.) Add in your onion + garlic.

3.) Once onion has become soft & more translucent (about 5-8 min), add in your pork chops, top with salt + pepper, add the apple cider & cover.

4.) Turn your pork chops over every 4-5 min, apple cider should be boiling at this point.

5.) When the outside is fully cooked, (about 10 min total, doesn’t mean the inside is cooked!) add in your apple slices & continue cooking until they’re soft.

6.) The pork chops should be fully cooked by now, but cut one open & double check!

Enjoy! I paired mine with roasted red potatoes seasoned with olive oil, garlic & rosemary & asparagus seasoned with olive oil, salt & pepper.
